A post script on this morning’s blog post about a PLO ambassador saying that the Palestinian state being discussed in the UN should be judenrein.

Maen Areikat, the PLO ambassador to the US was responding to a question by the Daily Caller‘s Jamie Weinstein. The Weekly Standard notes that the ambassador also ducked a question about tolerance for homosexuals. That’s not how I’d expect the PA to finesse pinkwashing — an accusation only hurled at Israel.

Areikat said:

“After the experience of the last 44 years of military occupation and all the conflict and friction, I think it would be in the best interest of the two people to be separated.”

All this took place at a Christian Science Monitor-sponsored breakfast. I assume the comments can be seen at FORA.tv (you have to pay to watch the full 38 minute video).

Too bad the Monitor’s Howard LaFranchi failed to get the scoop — I doubt the scrambled eggs and sweet rolls were worth the riot act he’s getting from his editors.
