There’s a perverse pleasure watching Saeb Erekat, Big Media’s favorite liar, spinning his resignation from the Palestinian negotiating team.
He now claims he quit because PaliLeaks happened on his watch.
Not because of the substance of the documents, or because his life’s in danger.
His resignation — he wants you to believe — has nothing to do with spreading Arab demands for democracy and accountability, demands which have Palestinian officials in Ramallah and Gaza City walking on eggshells.
How noble.
