It’s the error that happens time and time again. This time in the Daily Telegraph.
A reference to Tel Aviv implying that the coastal city rather than Jerusalem, is the Israeli capital.
No @Telegraph @NickSquires1, Israel's relations with other states are directed from Jerusalem, its capital city, not Tel Aviv. Please correct the error. https://t.co/JPfZKTgskk pic.twitter.com/bQyMgT6yKi

While the error has been corrected, this does, however, beg the question as to why it wasn’t deemed appropriate to use “Jerusalem” – Israel’s capital city where diplomatic relations with other states, such as Turkey, take place – instead.
