Just noticed the word “terror” appeared twice on the BBC’s Mideast page. Whoda thought?

More on the Heathrow terror arrests and Abu Hamza’s terror charge.

Spotting the T-word at the Beeb is a lot like bird-watching — you see a lot of interesting things, but patience rewards you with rare birds.

So whether you’re looking for “terror” at the Beeb or a particular snipe in Israel, enjoy it while you can. While the BBC doesn’t have an axe to grind with snipes, its editorial guidelines frown on the T-word.
