The British academic boycott of Israel was cancelled today. The Jerusalem Post writes:
Several factors in the boycott’s cancellation were cited: first, the union merged with a lager body whose delegates opposed the motion. Other factors incldue the international pressure from academic organizations and the threat of legal proceedings by union members who claimed the boycott would hurt their ability to do research.
