There are lots of ways to use labels to muddy the waters. South African Broadcasting Corp. News just came up with a new one:

Human rights organisation, Boycott Divestment Sanctions (BDS) has called on Wits University’s Vice Chancellor Adam Habib to cancel Wednesday’s Daniel Zamir concert because of what it says is a racist rant.

BDS is a human rights organization?

It’s as political as you can get. Norman Finkelstein went so far as to call BDS “a cult of dishonesty.”

Terrorists are activists, Gaza is occupied, Hezbollah has a legitimate political wing, black is white, up is down, and BDS is humanitarian.

Yeah, right.
