1. Haaretz: The Palestinian ambassador to the US, Riyad Mansour, vowed the Palestinians “would ‘make life miserable’ for the United States” if Donald Trump moves the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

2. Aides to President-elect Donald Trump reportedly warned outgoing President Barack Obama against 11th hour ‘new adventures’ on Palestinian issue or other major foreign policy moves. The Times of Israel picked up on Politico‘s scoop.
Trump, for one, has made it very clear he will support Israel and its preferences. A post-election statement by Trump’s advisers on Israel said, “A two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians appears impossible as long as the Palestinians are unwilling to renounce violence against Israel or recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.”
3. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited Israel to push for direct Israeli-Palestinian talks hosted in Moscow. Medvedev also signed agreements on agriculture, customs, high-tech and more. His visit kicked off with a politically incorrect visit to the Western Wall.

Israel and the Palestinians
• Iranian general: We set up missile factory in Syria to supply Hezbollah during the 2006 war.
During the 34 days of fighting, Hezbollah launched over 4,000 rockets at Israel, an average of over 100 a day.
Israel believes that Hezbollah currently has as many as 100,000 rockets pointed at Israel, in violation of the UN resolution that ended to 2006 conflict.
• Hundreds protested and burned an Israeli flag at UN climate talks in Morocco. They were demonstrating against an Israeli flag flying alongside 195 others outside the Marrakech venue.
• Jerusalem Post: Hamas considers Moroccan journalists’ visit to Israel a ‘crime.’

• For the second time since February, Iran has exceeded the limits of allowed heavy water, according to a UN report.
• German police are investigating a neo-Nazi group which published on Facebook the addresses of Berlin Jewish institutions on the anniversary of Kristallnacht.
