Israeli politics are complicated at the best of times and only properly understood when the facts are correct.

Which is why we flagged this error in the LA Times:

Avigdor Lieberman’s secular, right-wing party is, of course, Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Our Home).

Jewish Home, known in Hebrew as HaBayit HaYehudi, is the right-wing Modern Orthodox, religious Zionist party headed by current Defense Minister Naftali Bennett.

Thank you to the LA Times for making the simple correction shortly after we notified the media outlet.
