As tensions on the Temple Mount continue, so does the misreporting. Considering the volatile situation, any suggestion that Israeli forces have actually entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque (they haven’t) are inflammatory.

Yet, the International Business Times wrote the following:

According to witnesses on the ground, Israeli police entered the mosque shortly before 7am local time on 28 September via the al-Maghareba entrance.

Following an email from HonestReporting pointing out the implications of confusing the mosque with the far larger Temple Mount compound itself, the IBT promptly published the following correction:
