Palestinian activist Ghada Karmi writes in The Age:

Israel, which ceaselessly professes its desire for peace, has never initiated a peace proposal of its own and has prevaricated when offered one. By postponing a settlement indefinitely, it has sought to gain time to colonise more Palestinian land, making that colonisation irreversible. This ploy has succeeded marvellously.

This “ploy” only worked because of an Arab League document called the Khartoum resolution, which was passed immediately after the Six-Day War. The resolution made history for its “Three Nos,” namely no peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel and no negotiations with Israel.

How did Israel marvellously mastermind that?
