During these darkest of times, it’s heart-warming to see people come together to support those in need. When an Israeli woman died of coronavirus, the tragedy was harsher than most – her twin children had already lost their father and were no orphaned at the age of four.

Without parents to look after them, the girls face a challenging future. But when within hours of their mother’s death, literally thousands of Israels came forward to do their bit and ensure that the children get a solid start to life.

A reminder that even in these dark moments, the spirit of humanity can and will prevail.
