Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, the Jewish state on Tuesday reopened one of the country’s crossings with the Gaza Strip to allow for the transfer of humanitarian aid. Even as thousands of rockets have rained down on Israel, its government approved the transfer of medical equipment and other supplies for civilians in the Palestinian coastal enclave.
This was also the case during the 2014 war, when Israel authorized 8,395 truckloads of aid for Gazans. The latest intended shipment, however, was halted after Gaza-based terrorist groups fired mortar shells towards the border crossing, which injured one soldier and caused material damage.
Where is the outrage from the media, which all-too-often blames Israel for the conditions in Gaza and Hamas’ war crimes?
