Sunday Express Train Wreck of a Story

It’s hard to imagine how the UK’s Sunday Express could have made any more of a mess of this story. Blogger Joniversity takes it apart and generously gives it a failing grade:

This doesn’t appear to be a case of malicious intent. Rather, it looks like a toxic mixture of ignorance, bad editing and a lack of professionalism that shouldn’t be happening in a credible media outlet.

Quite frankly, this story, from the headline to the sub-header, to the text, is an embarrassment to journalism.
