There is a video that is circulating on social media right now. It really is shocking. It is from a security camera and shows an Arab woman calmly strolling up to an Israeli security guard and then starting to chat with him… before pulling a huge knife out of her purse and trying to kill him.

Over the last month, we have seen the media describe the current wave of violence by adding up the casualties on both sides. But that style is extremely misleading. In this case, the terrorist was shot dead by the security guard she attacked. Yet how will the media report this shocking example of a terrorist attack?
Would anyone be surprised to find a headline “Palestinian woman shot dead by Israeli security guard?”
