Ron Ben-Yishai of YNet News tours Syria, including a visit to Deir Ezzour, the town closest to the mystery target of Israel’s recent air strike. Nothing in his video indicates he sowed chaos; expect Syrian whining within a few hours.
UPDATE Oct. 11: According to the NY Times, Ben-Yishai’s report is putting a lot of pressure on Syria, and not just because he was able to enter and tour the country:
His claims have compelled the Syrian government, already anxious over the rising tensions with Israel and the United States, to try to vindicate itself after a recent flurry of news reports that it may have ambitions to acquire nuclear weapons.
