Common Sense Prevails In Teacher’s Journal

HonestReporting Canada highlights a textbook example of grass roots action after a trade journal (in this case, a British Columbia teacher’s magazine) flunked out on Israel.

After publishing this anti-Israel diatribe riddled with errors, half-truths and baseless accusations, HR Canada and concerned educators took action.

The result? “Teacher” magazine schooled itself, Getting It Right on Israel and Palestine.

I’d call it a teachable moment for Israel activists dealing with bias in professional periodicals.
