HonestReporting is proud to have built a thriving community on Facebook. We’re especially gratified with the way readers engage each other (and us) with lively discussions and debates about Israel, the media and more. (And if you haven’t already done so, please like HonestReporting Facebook.)

With our HR Française, HR Brasil and Fighting BDS Facebook communities are growing as well, we couldn’t be happier.

However, Facebook announced significant changes in the way material will appear in your feed. Moving forward, Facebook wants to place more emphasis on posts by individuals (family and friends) and less by public groups (businesses, brands, media, etc.).

That means you will likely see HonestReporting posts less frequently in your Facebook feed over the coming days and weeks.

There are a few easy steps you can take to ensure your feed keeps HonestReporting (and other public groups of your choice) visible. If you don’t want to miss HonestReporting’s posts and all the conversation, here’s what you can do, whether you use Facebook on a mobile device or desktop. (If you’re not already following us, you’ll first need to “like” HonestReporting.)

If you use Facebook for iPhone

1. Tap the three-line menu in the bottom right-hand corner of the app.

2. Scroll towards the bottom of the menu and select Settings.

3. Select News Feed Preferences.

4. Select Prioritize who to see first.

5. The friends and groups you follow will appear. Select the pages and profiles you want appearing first in your feed by tapping them. A blue badge with a star will appear next to the accounts you prioritize. Please make sure HonestReporting is among the accounts you prioritize. (To de-prioritize, tap the person or page again and the badge will disappear.)

6. When you finish prioritizing, tap Done.
