HR Comment: Time to End the Incitement Against Israel
March 21, 2012 17:27 by Alex Margolin
It’s entirely possible that the Toulouse shooter Muhammed Merah never saw the picture posted by UN worker and Palestinian activist Khulood Badawi on Twitter. It’s possible that he never heard of Twitter at all, or any of the previous instances of false images against Israel that spread like wildfire across the Internet.
We don’t know exactly what triggered his inexplicable violence.
But we do know that three Jewish children, and a rabbi were brutally murdered to avenge the deaths of Palestinian children.
And we know the attack in France took place one week after pro-Palestinian activists were caught spreading false images, including a particularly evocative photo of a bleeding girl in her father’s arms. The girl, it turns out, was killed in an accident, not by Israel.
There is no reason to link the two events directly. But here is something else we know: misinformation leads to incitement and incitement leads to violence.
We have seen how direct incitement can spill over into heartrending violence against Jewish children. Almost exactly one year ago, Palestinian terrorists killed five members of the Fogel family in their own home. The youngest was two months old.
At the time, Prime Minster Binyamin Netanyahu blamed the Palestinian glorification of terrorists for creating an environment that could lead to murder. “A society that permits such wild incitement ends up prompting the murder of children,” he said.
In a statement, HR CEO Joe Hyams said:
In the media war against Israel, we see more and more misinformation that threatens to cross the line into incitement. The discourse is seeped in hyperbolic accusations of all manner of crimes, including genocide. Every upsurge in violence provides another chapter in the series of Big Lies against Israel.

There is nothing new about false information and incitement against Jews and Israel. The only difference is now haters can post poison on social media from the comfort and privacy of their own reichstag. Of course, even leaders of countries espouse the lies. Recently, Turkey’s Erdogan referred to “hundreds of thousands” of imprisoned Palestinians. I can’t wait to see the vitriol that’s going to come out of Egypt’s new government. The only thing we can do is make sure we educate people to take with a grain of salt any negative information about Israel, which they read on the internet (or anywhere, really).

Do we ever need a return to the passionate quest for truth? In my little corner of the world, the mainstream media play into the hands of our socialist government, shutting down what they don’t want the public to know, while grilling and condemning whoever tries to raise those issues the others have tried to hide. When we have the opportunity to demand the truth, we have to use every quarter available, be it; phoning and emailing talkback radio stations, emailing and texting the papers, letters and petitions to our politicians, visiting the various clubs and communities to alert them to a totally corrupt media. Eventually it will be possible that the public won’t engage with dishonest radio presenters, newspapers, TV programs, if we find the effective means of proving these bodies are simply members of the same political party machine.

This has been going on for years-
It started in the UK when the Left Wing took over the BBC who has affiliation with C-Span and CNN.
It started in the UK when the Left wing took over the “Manchester” Guardian and renaimed it the Guardian. Who if you are looking for a job with the BBC thats where you look-They only advertise in the Guardian. But why is this-
As I see it its goes back to the establishment of the state of Israel-
During the 48/50 war who was it that placed an embargo on arms to Israel whilst still supplying the Arab states-The USA and the UK.
Who was it who ensured arms to Israel- Stalin through his proxies in Hungry and Czechoslovakia.
Of course Stalin then thought he would have another “Satellite” in the Middle East- Something the Soviets longed for.
However after the war Israel and rightly chose independence and sought the help from America in one way or another.
Check the CV`s of the current elders in these Left Wing elitist positions- Such as Michael White of the Guardian, John Humphry and the Dimbelby Brothers from the BBC.
All despise the capitalistic rule of the United States- Hence if Israel is tied to America, then Israel too must be “Demonised”. They have never forgiven Israel for not being part of the Soviet Union.
However it has only been in recent times that Israel has woken up to this propaganda.
They are so far behind in telling it from their side- that it has left a chasm of truth telling, to persuade the public that all is not as it is told by the bias press and media.

The weapon supplies to Izrael were not exactly supplemented by USSR, neither on command of it.
Stalin and his commies hated jews, but in the time they just let it go, cause they were estabilishing the governments. And weapons were transported only for one year, hungary did not participate much, Czechoslovakian weapons and ammunition saved the Izrael back then..

The media in France is particularly hostile to Israel, and comments sections in online news sites are not properly moderated. Furthermore not enough French speaking people go online to challenge antisemitism. I’m in no doubt that this is the result.

I believe that England in general and the UK media as a group have been rather negative about Israel and have shown more bias than France or French media. Please note that the first attack of the gun man was against naturalized French from North Africa!

Israel and agencies such as Honest Reporting spend too much time defending Israel. This is like a Hydro on steroids: cut off one lie, not just another, but five more sprout. It’s time to take some of this energy and time and mounting an offensive against the PLO, Hamas and all such groups, exposing them. Counter Israel Apartheid Week, not with Israel Peace Week, but Arab Apartheid Week.
And unfortunately, Israel and Jews world-wide need to prepare for war, not to mention still-dormant western countries who actually contribute to and enable the situation.

There should be a Saudi Apartheid Week, Jordan Apartheid Week, Syria Apartheid Week, Kuwait Apartheid Week, Pakistan Apartheid Week, Egypt Apartheid Week, in fact enough weeks to fill the whole calendar and make a complete mockery of IAW. Unfortunately I expect that Jewish students and their friends have better things to do with their time, such as studying.

Did UN worker’s anti-Israel tweet provoke Mohammed Merah to murder?
Did Mohammed Merah murder Jewish children because little over week earlier, on March 12, UN worker Khulood Badawi posted a photo of a bloodied child on @KhuloodBadawi? Did it play a part in his thinking? (She has since taken it down, later writing: “Correction: I tweeted the photo believing it was from the last round of violence & it turned out to be from 2006.”)

Terminology is evocative and should be meaningful.
When you use the term “shooter” to describe the murderer of the 3 children, the rabbi & 3 French paratroopers, you’re providing a backdrop as though he was firing at a fairground stall. It’s not serious and in this case, it’s disrespectful to the dead.
The word to use is “gunman” -which has the obvious connotation plus one who uses a gun for nefarious purposes.

We need to stop asking whether that kind or false reporting incite people in the Arab world and start accusing those who do of being guilty of murder or at the very least collaborating and contributing to the murder of Jews, and let them respond. Enough is enough, being nice does not work with those poor specimen of human beings.

The infamous “Barroness” Ashton has recently speedily accused Israel of a “massacre of civilians” , but the next day, an official document from Gaza, with photos, established that the 16 dead were all armed terrorists.
Tsahal had in fact succeeded in hitting the armed terrorists and sparing the civilians with a care that is unheard of in time of war, by any army.
Together with that obnoxious and fraudulent UN employee Badawi, Ashton spreads hatred against Israel and the Jews through her lies.
They are directly responsible for incitment of gullible young muslims in killing jews, in Itamar, Toulouse, etc….
They must be prosecuted, ASAP. for antisemitic propaganda which causes bloodshed.
They belongs in jail, not in the diplomatic arena or in the UN

What does the West thinks when young Muslims come back to the West after training in Pakistan, Afghanistan and other Muslim countries?
They come to kill. Bin Laden legacy!
The authorities in the West have failed their own people.
The politically correct mafia (left and far left) are directly responsible for these innocent deaths including Prs. Obama and Sarkozy.
Muslims using their children as shields to kill or defend themselves are twice guilty of crime against humanity and cowards. No one in the West condemn this abomination. This comes directly from Islam (Qur’an, Sharia and or Hadith).

This representative of the UN falsified the picture data to enrage and provoke hatred against Israel. The anti-Israeli world campaign is based on lies. There is no justification to continue the charade. Is common knowledge, easily verifiable the fact that in Israel the assumed Palestinians are not victimized. The Arabs and Socialists must now give up this shameful patroness against an innocent State and innocent people around the world.
Khulood Badawi must be prosecuted and the UN must fired her in clear terms. She elaborated and publicized a complete fabrication for the purpose. Miss Badawi used her fake image to blame Israel. The incitement against Israel and Jews engaged in their demonization is a mistaken incitement. I wrote it here: I think it’s important to show how wrong is the actual vitriolic campaign even in American Universities. We need to stop all this despicable dangerous antisemitic wave. Despite Soros network, Socialist and Islamic donations.

How many times did I hear “He did it to avenge the children of Gaza” on the news today? No explanation was given that Israel does not target the children of Gaza, or anywhere else, for that matter. Not a single word to say the killer was wrong.
Two points: 1) The suggestion is left with the large (often ignorant?) audiences that the killer was justified, 2) The killer saw no difference between “Zionists” and Jews thus demonstrating the weakness of the argument that there is no link between anti-Zionism and anti-semitism.

With people like Ashton, Anan, Goldstone, Carter and many others who top the list of intelligentsia, who with a few words or short sentences incite the pseudo intelligence etc. One has to go to the core of the issues and bring the original slanderers to retract publicly their lies. Also, it would be wise to follow the money trail leading to them and level sanctions against them.
It is very easy to claim ‘blood’ liable… but under cross questioning on live TV and Tube where you see the true character revealed against, lets say a real Pesach Matza production line may shed some light.

this is very true, i’ve been saying this for many years, they had their heads in the sand. i don’t think they realised how the war is being waged until just recently. unfortunately the head start has meant that israel’s history has been re written, it’s culture distorted and it’s objectives turned into something very malevolent. i really believe if israel got this part of the conflict right it would not be in the predicament it is now.
