Seven Katyushas hit the Galilee city of Safed. According to the Jerusalem Post, more than 60 rockets have been fired on northern Israel since this morning. The northern coastal town of Nahariya, where a woman was killed, is basically closed as residents are either hunkering down in shelters or leaving.
Meanwhile, the Post also reports that Chief of Staff Dan Halutz confirmed that the two kidnapped reservists are still alive. They were identified as Ehud Goldwasser, 31, from Nahariya, and Eldad Regev, 26, from Kiryat Motzkin.
