New York Times: It Started When Israel Fired Back

August 21, 2011 15:50 by

Why is it that the New York Times still cannot distinguish the moral differences between Palestinian terror and Israeli measures to defend its citizens?

Take a look at this headline and accompanying photo from the NY Times’ August 20 story:

Why did the NY Times purposely choose an emotive image of a Palestinian child’s funeral? Particularly as Israel was also burying its dead as a result of a terror attack.

This sort of misplaced moral equivalence is typical of the NY Times which also states (emphasis added):

Israel blamed The Popular Resistance Committees for Thursday’s attack and killed its top commanders in an airstrike later that day, igniting cross-border exchanges after months of relative quiet under an informal cease-fire with Hamas.

So who exactly “ignited” the violence? According to the NY Times it wasn’t those who carried out Thursday’s terror attack but Israel for responding. In addition, the term “cross-border exchanges” implies, once again, some sort of moral equivalence between Palestinian rocket attacks on Israeli civilian targets and Israeli responses.

    Henry,

I don’t think you have seen a lot of the Arab housing in the Shomron.

A tremendous amount of construction of Arab housing is financed by the Oil rich Arab states. The Arabs in the Shomorn and Yehudah build on the ‘pay as you go method’. They get some funds for each level of construction and then take a picture and send for the next payment.

They have some very large villas. The village next to Shiloh has a population of Arabs with about 90% holding passports from the USA. They have riding clubs and verandas. Of course they do not pay any taxes and they do benefit from the infrastructure of road, electricity, fresh water systems, telephone network etc. built by the Israeli Government and Israeli Taxpayers.

Frankly, I look forward to the Jews of Monsey or Lakewood to take part in a population transfer project. They move to Turmos Ayah (Check out Daf Ayan Daled of messecet Shabbos, the inyan of Borere) and the Arabs move to either Monsey or Lakewood. They the Jews would be a 10 mionute car ride from the site where the Mishkan was for 369 Years.

If all the Jews come home, there won’t be much place for the Arabs in our home and they can go back to theirs in Saudi, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon. Remember Jordan occupies the East Bank of Eretz Yisroel. More land for the Children of Israel to Populate.

Come home brothers and vote with your feet. Talk is cheap.

Interesting that Israel is stealing land when she gave back the Sinai in 1979 for peace. The exact same Sinai that this attack was carried out in. Which, if up is down and black is white, makes you the frigging genius.

Tejano, your are merely a minor zit on the butt that is pro-Palestinian obnoxiousness.
