Sky News Turns Iron Dome Into Offensive Weapon

The caption underneath reads:
The Israeli military launches a missile from the Iron Dome missile system in the southern Israeli city of Beer Sheva into the Gaza Strip.
Iron Dome is, of course, designed to intercept incoming missiles as a means of defense. Therefore, despite Sky News’s caption, there’s no way that Israel would be firing Iron Dome missiles into the Gaza Strip.
A minor mistake maybe but a major change in context to Israel’s detriment.

The Dutch-language TROUW through a communication from a private Dutch wire service ANP (Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau) showed a simalar picture of a departing Iron Dome missile from its launching tube, with a similar vicious caption saying it was a rocket being fired into Gaza.

I really do not understand “reportage” coming from England. BBC, now SKY NEWS, the Guardian and on and on. Their mentality goes back to the 12th Centrury when Jews were the charlatans, money lenders etc etc What I do not understand is their enthusiasm for the Arabs.
MONEY??? Or dislike for the Jewish people. The only Englishman that, in my mind, stands as a friend, was Winston Churchill. Had he been able to convince the other members of the League of Nations in 1922, we would have had Israel without the battles that followed and I am certain most of them were instigated by certain Brits.
I believe it is high time the world takes a good look and verifies as to what comes out of England..

Yes Paul, but remember too, that Churchil gave the whole of the east bank of the Jordan to the Hashemite bastard from what is now Saudi Arabia, only becuas e his cousin was put oin the throne in what is now Iraq, It was the British military based in Cairo at the time that was so biased against the Jews and pro Arab sentiment, which caused the real problems that we have today. Same thing with CNN. I requested in the comments to change the caption.
Notice, both CNN and Sky use the term “The Isreali military” which sounds like militants. No “forces” or “army”. It is not a mistake. Their source of course is the same news outlet.

i agree it’s not a mistake. after they took down the words ‘at gaza,’ they left up the caption with ‘israel offensive,’ re: the iron dome. i think they mean that israel’s defending itself IS-REAL OFFENSIVE to them. it’s like an in-joke among anti-semites or something….

Don’t be naïve!
First of all, not all Jews are for Israel! Some (unfortunately) are for money. Others are as naïve as you are, believing the Arabs will someday accept the Jews’ existence.
Some think that the simple solution would be to withdraw to the 67 or 48 lines! And again, naïve!!! This solution would bring to the complete destruction of Israel! THIS is what the Arabs (at least the ones in power) want!
I HATE guns! I AM a pacifist! I WANT all Arabs to prosper and be happy, BUT I want to LIVE (in peace) in my TINY piece of land.

I watch BBC, CNN, SkyNews…… They NEVER , NEVER, NEVER bring in news when rockets fall down on Israeli cities!! NEVER!!! they only tell the story when and if Israel responds to the fire!!! and even then, most of the times the headlines are “Israel attacks…..”
I live and work near Gaza ! i hear the bombs I run to shelters (it has been going on for almost TEN YEARS on a daily basis. The difference is that usually it’s “only” 2-4 rockets a day and now it’s 2-4 rockets a minute) and i NEVER see this “news” on these “precious” “news” channels.
pro Israel?!? PLEASE!!! I don’t want “friends” like these!

Yeah, that’s a mistake from Sky news.
But, Sionists, please don’t come and cry about it here.
Yesterday you murdered five more kids and four more women. Not with the dome, true, but with battleships and airstrikes.Which makes it 95/3 as of today.
God -if it exists- will judge us all in the end. And I bet some people in Israel are already carrying a pretty heavy burden…. Good luck wth that.

If Israel behaved like Palestinian leadership it would have much more casualities because of no bunkers, no medical first class, no iron dome, no radar to warn people then Isreal then Isreal would have dozens of casualities. For you it is better to have 95v95 than 3v95…

I have lived with anti Jewishness for most of my life. Much was due to the Church teachings, now we have the Arab “leadership= Mullas, Imams ets” who learned from the Nazi era continue to manipulate people all over the world. When one looks at the result, one sees how easy it is to control people. The world needs to be educated to think for themselves and above all RESPECT for one another.
Re the Iron Dome: How many anti-missile missiles have landed in Gaza? Has there been any damage, anyone . killed or wounded?
To the individual who claims that women and chldren were killed: why don’t you ask Hamas as to why Hamas hides among the civilian population?
