I sent a letter to the Gaurdian getting the same response and then sent a second e-mail in reply.
The question that I asked the editor was that if the link encouraged English Muslims to blow up additonal English structures and kill English citizens, would the link be allowed or discontinued.
I received no response

There is also a contradiction in that the spokesperson said the link had existed for about 10 years. This would make it far older than the Palestinian election.
So, the reasoning for including Hamas and not Al-Queda of Hamas being an elected government does not hold true.

If this is how the Guardian interprets the Hamas then whenever the muslims in Great Britain decides to form its military wing then they will be recognized as a legitimate ‘political wing’ inside the British society? If they are not then the Guardian is contradicting itself.

The Guardian may in many ways be biased in its Middle East reporting, but criticizing it for providing a link to a website is absurd.
Hamas, whether we like it or not, is a major force in the region. Those wanting to be informed about their positions, actions and attitudes need to read what they have to say.
Do you think that anyone engaging in negotiations to resolve the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians does not need to know about, understand, and take Hamas into account? The answer is obvious. Why then would you castigate a newspaper for providing a link to information about this terrorist group? Ignorance is of no use and even if what they say and stand for is Hitlerian, the information needs to be known and dealt with.
