UN Investigating “False Photo” Tweeter

Now is the time to let the UN know that there is no place in the organization for people who post false and damaging propaganda against Israel.
In four days, our petition demanding the UN fire Badawi has reached 10,000 names. Please sign if you haven’t already and spread the petition to anyone who wants to fight anti-Israel propaganda from the UN.
Every signature reinforces the message that the UN must act against Badawi or face major damage to its credibility. We will deliver our petition to the head of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), where Badawi works, within 10 days.
Here is an update of recent developments:
After HR revealed that the false tweet had been posted by a UN employee, news spread to the highest levels of the Israeli government, culminating with an official demand from UN Ambassador Ron Prosor that the UN fire Badawi.
In a strongly worded letter, Prosor noted, “Ms. Badawi stands in complete violation of articles 100 and 101 of the UN Charter.” The articles refer to the principles of objectivity and non-partisanship expected of UN workers. The principles include the statement that employees “shall refrain from any action which might reflect on their position as international officials responsible only to the Organization.”
In response to Prosor’s letter, UN Under-Secretary General Valerie Amos wrote, “It is regrettable that an OCHA staff member has posted information on her personal Twitter profile, which is both false and which reflects on issues that are related to her work. The opinions expressed in her tweets in no way reflect the views of OCHA, nor has it been sanctioned by OCHA.”

Well, the only positive thing we can say about Khulood Badawi’s irresponsible false tweet is that, for once, people can’t use that old vicious chestnut about “the Jews controlling all the media”!

I am Ms. Badawi. I have no journalistic integrity – I will use any photo that will invoke emotion whether or not it has any relevance to the story. I’m not even sorry that I was caught in this instance because it doesn’t matter the circumstances behind the photo – i HATE the state of Israel. It can do no right. Israelis are not people too. They have no side of the story to tell.

Leonard when speaking to Jews leave all that Jesus stuff out. We can barely tolerate the incessant racism and prostalyizing of your religion which is a copy of ours. Ours of course is better since we have no false G-d’s.
Look up Rabbi AKIBA he was the actual person who said and did everything your pundits 200 hundred years after the fact wrote up as having been said and done by the kid who was born in a manger.

How come you have neveer showed pictures of the rockets sent from gaza, that have fallen in Israel lately…unprovoked!
May be it is just bcz negociations behind the scenes have resumed and the arabs in their rabid hate of the jews will have nothing to do with the Jewish State, so firing rockets on peaceful civilians, children, women, etc…is the only indecent things you arabs know to do.
You should be gratefull that Israel takes into their hospital your pitiful sick, treats them for free AND without jugement of who they are.
I respect and admire the jewish people and am sorry they give so much work to the gazaiens who can’t make a go of their own destiny. hate is your definition.

You have a right, especially as a journalist, to post only materials but you don’t have a right, especially for the money that tax payers paying you (UN is a nonprofit organization, that must be funded by all countries, it means same as by the tax payers money), in any way to antagonize any propaganda that creates heathenness and creates terrorists funded by maniacs as Axmaxedjuns and Komaynees!!!

I read the post by Annette differently. Annette is not Mrs. Badawi. Annette does not herself condone what Mrs. Badawi has done. Annettee is really saying what a nasty unethical, dishonest, person Mrs Badawi’s is. Mrs Badawi is only interested in her agenda and couldn’t care about anyone else.

This representative of the UN falsified the picture data to enrage and provoke hatred against Israel. The anti-Israeli world campaign is based on lies. There is no justification to continue the charade. Is common knowledge, easily verifiable the fact that in Israel the assumed Palestinians are not victimized. The Arabs and Socialists must now give up this shameful patroness against an innocent State and innocent people around the world.
Khulood Badawi must be prosecuted and the UN must fired her in clear terms. She elaborated and publicized a complete fabrication for the purpose. Miss Badawi used her fake image to blame Israel.The incitement against Israel and Jews engaged in their demonization is a mistaken incitement. Annette, Schmanette. Any debate with the likes of her is a sheer waste of time. There are countless times when the Arabs have be caught lying through their teeth or showing doctored photos. “Dead” victims have fallen off stretchers in front of a camera and have miraculously climbed back on, “tens of thousands” of women and children killed in Jenin, turned out to be 53, mostly terrorists. The innocent victims were the result of the choice of combat location by the Arabs. It would require a thick book to register all the Arab lies, hoaxes and doctored photos by Arab propagandists, but what!? They couldn’t care less. One minute after exposure they’ll concoct another lie.
