Yes, we are once again facing at attempt at a holocaust. When someone says they are going to kill you pay attention.

Yes, it was totally appropriate. The constant chant of Ahmadinejad, the mullahs and their followers of “Death to Israel” should be taken at face value.

Is not the purpose of having a “Holocaust Remembrance Day” the prevention of another holocaust? It seems to me that when the threat of a holocaust at the hands of the present day Iranian government is looming on the horizon, that it is eminently appropriate to mention such a threat on Holocaust Remembrance Day. Probably no other day would be more appropriate.

Lots of people say the lesson of the Holocaust is Man’s inhumanity to Man. I’ve always disagreed and think the lesson of the Holocaust is Man’s inhumanity to Jews. Jew hatred is ancient and persistent and completely irrational, and the world needs to be vigilant at all times. When someone says “kill the Jews” we should all take it very seriously and do everything in our power to prevent them having the opportunity to do as they promise. Mr Netanyahu is right to sound this warning on Yom HaShoah and the world must listen.

Once again we face another rabid dictator who is ramping up his invective and quite blatently building the weapons he intends to destroy Israel and subjugate the rest of the world to his and his puppeteers’ wills.
Once again the world turns a blind eye and pretends that it is “business as usual, nothing is amiss and there is no threat.” Not only that, but a frightening majority are joining in the hypnotic chant to blame the Jews for their own stupidity and misfortunes.
There are very few , if any, who will protest and either assist us in our defense or defend us and so we must turn to G0d and beg his tender mercy that another STORM not break over our heads and bring us to the brink of our destruction.
The signs are all there, “wake up and smell the coffee!”

Why not? A highly appropriate moment for ths discussion, I would say. In fact hardly anything else would be as meaningful to discuss on this occasion than a renewed exixtensial threat to the Jewish people. Anything else would be mere platitudes. Bibi’s right on the ball. Yet again!

Absolutely, it was totally appropriate considering the facts. Amedinajad has stated numerous times as well as others that they want to wipe Israel off the map. How much more does one have to hear to believe that that is what their main goal is.

Not only was it proper for PM Netanyahu to discuss the continuing threat from Iran, it would have been very wrong not to do so. It is most unfortunate that such a remembrance needs be cited to shock people into realizing what our current circumstances are. But that is the reality. The world must realize reality is not nice. Evil must be confronted.
I have diminishing faith that the nations of the world will respond by confronting evil. Jews and Israel must be the Lamp unto the Nations, and take action.
I only hope PM Netanyahu will be able to do what he must despite tremendous pressure from other countries, especially from the current United States Administration, and B’Ezrat HaShem, succeed.

What better time than to use the first shoah, denied by the Iranian mulahs by the way, to
comment on those same Iranian mulahs planning a second.

I think it is definitely appropriate to link the Holocaust with Iran’s intentions towards Israel. After all, a spokesman for the Ayatollah has said that “in the name of Allah, Israel must be destroyed by 2014″. And the Iranian president has spoken of Israel as a cancer that needs to be removed. Iran has also played host to events that deny the Holocaust. As far as I’m concerned, the war against the Jews didn’t end in 1945 but merely shifted to the Muslim world. Actually, Muslim agitation against the Jews was picking up speed in the decades preceding the establishment of the State of Israel. And let’s not forget that it was the Mufti of Jerusalem who met up with the Nazis to discuss bringing the Final Solution to the Middle East. Had the Nazis won the war, then I’m sure that they would have spurred on the Muslim population to murder the Jews throughout the Arab world. Iran is just the latest player in the war against the Jews. If Iran had a nuclear bomb then it would jeopardize the safety of the six million Jews living in Israel.

The fact that this question is even being asked demonstrates how far we have fallen. We are the first to step up to help suffering people in any other situation, but we fail to recognize when we need to stand up for ourselves. We behave like the battered children of the world. If we are good enough, if we apologize enough, if we give away more land and more land, and throw out our brothers and sisters to hlp you in your efforts to drive us out, will you like us then? Will you? The answer is NO! The Jews are at that point again, and it doesn’t matter what your political ideology is or your religious ideology is, just like the Holocaust.
Christians in Arab countries can add hemselves to the list too!

WHY NOT?? Yom Ha Shoah is the perfect time to compare the Nazi atrocities to the atrocities proposed by the current regime in Iran.

Definitely. Given Iran’s clearly stated objective of genocide in conjunction with their denial of the Holocaust, it is entirely appropriate in this case. How could anyone argue otherwise?

It was Absolutely appropriate and necessary for PM Netanyahu to communicate the message of Never Again. After all the west at best is ignoring the necessity of halting the progression of nuclear weapons for a dictator who has clearly stated their purpose – destroying his “enemies” while “enemies” would possibly be criminalized for protecting themselves.

Yes, totally appropriate.
Iran is a vile state that created a “Holocaust Cartoon Competition” to trivialise and mock the victims of the Holocaust. Is this not relevant on Holocaust Remembrance Day?
They stated several times that it would take just one A-bomb to destroy Israel, whereas Iran would survive a nuclear attack. This is their mindset.
Iran is marshalling all its resources, at whatever cost, to destroy Israel and must be stopped sooner than later.

Yes I think he was right, we are in very dangerous time, and again it is bringing out hate for the Jews, we can’t just sit back and hope it will go away, because it will not. the press being as it is, can whip up anger in hours, this time we do know what is going on, if we don’t stand with Israel, we will again have blood on our hands, He has done the right thing, to remind us of what could happen again. May GOD bless Benjamin Netanyahu, who has been called at this very difficult time.

Yes. No time could be more appropriate than the remembrance of one holocaust to warn of the possibility of another. So far from profaning the memories of those murdered in the Holocaust, it is precisely what they would want. It might have saved many if someone had done for them what Netanyahu has done for us.

If our president will not stand behind Israel than we must. He was absolutely right to mention the Holocaust. We must do something to make sure this never happens again and if Obama won’t help, we must move on without him.
