Look how the country blooms once again where G-ds people have come home to the land that was given to them by G-ds. This is a good thing; you should not accept anything less than the original borders of the promise land and never give one inch back. Israel has no reason to apologize to anyone nor should they allow their leadership to make unwarranted Mia Copra’s. America is doing that left and right and it make me sick that our leaders are so lame and make us look so weak.
I wish I were younger to help in the IDF but that day is past as my good friend Admiral Almog and his wife have passed.
By the way, make no mistake, not all Gentiles are anti-semites. I know

If I were younger, I would go to live in Israel. She does not need super seniors like me. Younger Jews do not realize how much better Israel makes our lives in the diaspora, because she existed from the time they were born, so they take Her for granted. Younger Jews remain ignorant about much of jewish and Israeli history so they are easy prey to the Arab anti-Semitic narrative. They must learn the truth and we older ones must teach it to them, since they are mostly unwilling to expend the time or energy to learn it by themselves.

Hi, Honest Reporting. You mean “its image,” not “it’s image.” I’ve noted this error before. If you mean it is, then it’s. If you mean possessive (The cat chased its tail), then its. This type of error makes you look less professional. Thanks.

For all the pontificating about ‘The Chosen people” etc, your correspondents must get it straight
Like most other countries, Israel depends on its exports and tourism,to keep it economically healthy. Non-Jewsh tourists are frightened to go to Israel – not to mention the fact that the monstrous anti-Israel press has painted Israelis as ‘pushy’ and ‘ unfriendly. Shops in Britain and Europe either won’t take Israeli products or try to disguise their country of origin.
So forget about the ‘Chosen People’ ‘.schtick and deal with things as they are. Israel must have an international TV voice in order to present itself as it really is.

I propose 5 Mechanisms:
1- Each Jew serving as a permanent and independant ambassador in the country and area where he or she remains.
2- Taking the Issue Public all the time enemies oppose Israel.
3- Keeping Unity among us whenever we intervene ( Our oppositions of views shouldn’t be made public)
4-Occuying the intermediate media network to either correct informations or extend information to far reaching area. (Asia , Africa )
5- Asking the help of Hashem.

The words of Orde Wingate, an English officer in Palestine instructing Jewish soldiers before the country became a Jewish state keeps coming back to me in regard to this question. The gist of what he told them was “Be on the OFFENSIVE, not the DEFENSIVE!” and this needs to be said over and over again NOW. Not just to soldiers who are instructed to not be on the offensive, but to leaders of Israel not only political. Why doesn’t Israel for instance, have propoganda, to match the fundamentalist Arab / Muslim / Palestinian one? Instead I am reminded of the way German Jews allowed themselves to be treated like vermin by Nazis and didn’t get together to find ways to outwit those psychos?

David above has a good point. A professional cable news network that shows Israelis in all their diverse glory. Listen, Jews aren’t dumb. A professional cable news network that could put Al Jazeera and CNN is very do-able. Sciences, arts, humanities, politics… what aren’t Jews good at. Comedy? We’ve got comics! Do you know how many first class writers write news and opinions in the USA for both right and left? The number of potential contributors is enormous and that’s just the Jews. We have friends too. On the left and the right.
Oh. And an enormous aircraft carrier parked in international waters minutes from Cairo wouldn’t hurt.

I have written a number of times to the IFM asking when a satellite news/cultural/pro-opinion programme wil be set up to answer the the critics.
Why does I sarael continue to believe that hasbara is unimprtant? It is this attitude which has been a cause of the media problems that we have todayl

Israel needs to bring to the world’s attention the medical miracal pediatric open heart surgery preformed daily by Israel’s skilled surgerons and staff at Wolfson Medical center in Holon , Israel. Save A Child Heart has litterly saved the lives of over 2800 children from third world countries , including Gaza and the Palestinian Authority, all free of charge. The world renowend ,one of its kind organization , recognized as such by the United Nations is called Save A Child Heart, founded by Dr. Ami Cohn in 1995. There is nothing that any other country has done to equal the great humanitarian life saving work of SACH.

The question should rather read : “What can Israel do to make the world a better home ?” What Israel has done for herself ,let her teach ,edify ,share and do for the rest of the world too … this is the righteous way of winning friends and converting enemies as friends too. This is Israels divine mission as the Lightkeeper of the lost and foresaken darkening world.
Israel can save herself & the world !! She is blessed … She has the sacred covenant and the know how .Maybe , with just much less pride and much more humility and lotsa unconditional forgiveness ,increased dialogue and endless love ,these are the mircacle keys to making miracles .Blessed is Israel, chosen by the Miracle Maker.
