Sometimes you have to wonder how such a fundamental factual error can appear in a media outlet.
The Daily Mail, in a report on an Israeli mother fined by a rabbinical court for failing to circumcise her son, includes the following:
The decision to force the woman to have her son circumcised was taken previously by a Rabbinical court, which upholds Jewish law, in her home town of Netanya on the West Bank.
Netanya, is, of course, located within the Green Line on Israel’s coast and not on the West Bank.
An email has been sent to the Daily Mail requesting a prompt correction.
