Background

New York Times

The New York Times has rehired a freelancer previously exposed by HonestReporting for his pro-Hitler, pro-terrorist social media posts.

How is it conceivable that only days after the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, The New York Times has rehired someone who admires Hitler?

The New York Times has just announced to its Jewish readers that Jewish lives do not matter. Someone who has unabashedly announced his appreciation for and alignment with Hitler’s ideology is being invited to report on the world’s only Jewish State.

The world must not allow abject antisemitism to flourish unchecked. We know what happens when it does. In fact, Hijjy celebrates it.

AP

The main reporter covering the war in Gaza for the Associated Press has called publicly for the annihilation of Israel and compared Israel to the Nazis.

He called Islamic Jihad terrorists “resistance parties and movements,” and wrote that “the Palestinian revolt against the Israeli oppression will be a triumph.”

While covering the war in Gaza, his reports paint Israel as the aggressor, ignore Hamas’ massacre, and unabashedly parrot Hamas’ talking points.

Is this who the AP believes is meeting its own journalism standards of “accurate, fact-based, nonpartisan reporting?”

As a result of HonestReporting’s expose, the AP has taken the first step in temporarily removing Adwan from reporting while investigating these claims.
